Hong Kong businessman Carson Yeung may move for Premier League new-boys West Brom after his take-over at Birmingham failed.



He has turned his attention to the Blues' Midlands rivals after his protracted bid for the Blues collapsed amid ill-feeling.


But he would have to sell his 29.9 per cent stake in Birmingham before he could take over at the Hawthorns.


His representative, Sammy Yu, said after the Birmingham experience, Yeung would target a controlling stake if he was to make a move.


He told the Daily Mail: "If we can take more than 51 per cent, maybe we can consider. What happened at Birmingham really let us down."
