Scott Carson arrives at West Bromwich Albion

SCOTT Carson made his debut for the cameras in West Bromwich Albion colours today but fans will need to wait until tomorrow night’s game at Cheltenham to catch their first glimpses of him and fellow new signing Marek Cech in action.

Tony Mowbray has confirmed his squad for tonight’s first pre-season friendly on English soil at League Two Shrewsbury (ko 7.45pm) with neither player included.

But Cech will play some part in tomorrow’s game at Waddon Road, with Carson also travelling - although it is far from certain that the England keeper will play given that he only had his first training session with his new team-mates this morning.

Albion’s squad for tonight’s game is: Kiely, Danek, Hodgkiss, Barnett, Clement, Robinson, Dorrans, Kim, Morrison, MacDonald, Bednar, Moore, Lake-Gaskin, Saeid, Pike, Samuels, Downing, Elford-Alliyu.
