McLeish Keen on Kevin-prince Boateng
Birmingham City manager Alex McLeish is growing frustrated in his attempts to sign out-of-favour Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng on loan.
The 21-year-old Germany Under-21 international has not even been handed a squad number with Spurs this season, but seems reluctant to try his luck at St Andrew's.
McLeish told the Birmingham Mail: "I was hoping I would have met with him this week but he's been in Germany and I'm waiting to hear the next step.

Stephen Kelly is set to step in for Parnaby
Stuart Parnaby will be unavailable for Saturday`s game against Blackpool at St Andrews on Saturday.
The defender has undergone scans that have shown ligament damage in his ankle after taking a knock at Bristol City on Tuesday. He could be out of action for a couple of weeks.
Manager Alex McLeish told the Birmingham Mail: 'There's no massive swelling, but there is a bit of ligament damage. We don't think he will be out for too long. It's not as bad as we first feared.'
Stephen Kelly is set to step in as a replacement
McLeish added: 'We've an excellent replacement to come in.
'Steve's been champing at the bit. He was a bit unlucky to be out at the start of the season because he got an injury and we liked what we saw from Parnaby, his attitude and his form was very good.
'Steve's wee injury stopped him starting the season.'
