The day is nearly upon us the long awaited
Clash between newcomers West Bromwich Albion and the premiership old boys Aston Villa.

Local derby's are what the fans look for every season and this is one of the biggest of the season for both clubs so far.

Curtis Davies will be returning to the Hawthorns for the first time since joining Villa on a permanent contract this summer.

While Luke Moore and Scott Carson will be out to face there old team mates in the blue and white.

So the stage is set for what will be an exciting game of football.
And with both sets of fans that are passionate about there teams the atmosphere will be electric.

In the win lose stats Villa have the upper hand but there has been a lot of draws between the two.

But the baggies’ with Tony Mowbray at the helm will be more than a match for Villa with there now free flowing style of football.

I for one have been looking forward to this game since we won the Championship.

Well it was not to be some bad defensive mistakes and it was all over,
